Download FAQ: buying from outside Japan
Can I download these products outside Japan?
YourJapanStudio offers digital files through Etsy, so no parcel is shipped from Japan. Before buying, check that Etsy checkout is available in your location and review the listing’s files, language, paper sizes and software requirements.
Are the guides and instructions in English?
The five free Japan culture guides are written in English. Our product descriptions and instructions also use English; the beginner Japanese workbook includes Japanese examples and romaji. Check the individual Etsy listing for the languages and files included.

Download FAQ: files and delivery
Is anything shipped to me?
No. Instead, all products promoted here are digital downloads. Physical prints, frames, paper, envelopes, travel bookings and other supplies are not included.
Where do I download my files?
After Etsy confirms your payment, open Etsy in a web browser and find your order under Purchases and reviews. However, Etsy’s app does not currently support downloading digital purchases. Meanwhile, guest purchases use the download link provided by Etsy. See Etsy’s official download guide.
What should I do with ZIP files?
Download every file listed for your order, then extract the ZIP archives on a computer. Next, read the included guide before opening the artwork, PDFs or optional tools.
Download FAQ: paper and printing
Should I use A4 or US Letter paper?
Many card, winter planner and workbook products include US Letter and A4 versions. The 10-style Japan Travel Planner Bundle uses A4 pages with instructions for fitting them to US Letter. The 2027 calendar includes ready-made US Letter PDFs; its optional builder offers A4 too. Therefore, check the product you are buying.
How large can I print the artwork?
Recommended dimensions vary. For example, the calico cat and Mount Fuji JPG is 1024 × 1536 pixels, with a recommended small print size of approximately 5.1 × 7.7 inches or less. Some seasonal PDFs have 4 × 5 and 5 × 7-inch layouts. Therefore, follow each listing’s dimensions rather than enlarging every file to poster size.
How should I print a PDF?
Use the file matching your paper size and follow its guide. Where specified, print at Actual size / 100%, with Fit to page off. Use the product’s special instructions when printing an A4-only page on US Letter. Before printing the full set, print one test sheet. Colors vary by screen, paper and printer.
Download FAQ: tools and compatibility
This download FAQ covers several product types, so a tool mentioned for one product may not be included with another. Check the exact product’s instructions before choosing software.
Are the planners editable?
Selected planner PDFs contain fillable text fields and checkboxes. However, their artwork and layout are fixed. Use a desktop PDF reader that supports forms, enter English or Latin characters, save a copy, and reopen it to check your entries. In addition, budget totals are manual; there are no automatic calculations or booking functions.
Does the Japanese workbook have fillable fields or audio?
No. Its PDFs are for printing or annotation in a compatible app, rather than interactive forms. It includes English explanations, Japanese examples, romaji and reference cards. However, the workbook does not include audio or numbered stroke-order diagrams.
What do I need for the 2027 calendar builder?
For the optional calendar builder, use a current desktop browser. Download and extract the files, open the included HTML tool, and load the supplied Art Library files as directed. Alternatively, you can print five ready-made US Letter / Sunday-start PDFs without the tool. However, the listing does not guarantee mobile use or compatibility with every browser; review its notes.
Download FAQ: use and support
Can I use the files commercially?
No. The promoted products are for personal use under each listing’s terms. Do not resell, redistribute or publicly upload the digital files. However, permissions for personal gifts and travel-group copies vary by product.
What if I have a problem or want a refund?
Contact YourJapanStudio through your Etsy order or the shop’s Contact button. First, describe the product, your device and the issue. Digital download listings generally do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations; the listing terms, Etsy policies and any applicable legal rights govern your purchase.
Download FAQ: photographs and samples
Are the feature photographs products for sale?
For example, the culture features use photographs of real places and objects, with source and license credits. Shop illustrations are contemporary, Japan-inspired digital designs, made with AI assistance and prepared by YourJapanStudio. Therefore, check the linked Etsy listing for what a purchase includes; a feature photograph is not an offer of a physical item.
